The External Defibrillator – abbreviated with AED – is a device that can detect ventricular fibrillation, which causes cardiac arrest, and guide the operator in defibrillation of the heart with an electrical discharge that can restore a regular heartbeat.
In the case of a sudden cardiac arrest (usually caused by a change in rhythm such as ventricular fibrillation, preventing the heart from having an effective period of time for systole and diastole) there is no pharmacological treatment that can act directly on fibrillation ventricular. The only action that can be carried out is the delivery of an electric shock using a defibrillator.

The Saver One P is a portable external defibrillator designed to meet the needs of the most demanding professional resuscitators. The device is called DUAL MODE as it is able to work with both semi-automatic and manual defibrillation mode (synchronous and asynchronous). In addition, this device is particularly flexible thanks to the monitoring mode that allows you to monitor, in complete safety, the patient’s cardiac status.
The use of this AED is indicated for use by duly trained medical or paramedical personnel as well as by health personnel who have achieved and passed a BLSD course according to international guidelines. The Saver One P is designed to perform one or more defibrillation shakes on patients, adults or pediatric (children younger than 8 years and weighing <25 kg), suffering from ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia using a truncated biphasic type electric shock exponential (BTE) with self-compensating energy to be delivered based on the patient’s thoracic impedance.
